Philosophy in the Dancehall: Philosophy and Popular Music in Postcolonial Nigeria
Adeshina Afolayan completed the draft of his seven-chapter work, The Afrobeats Poetics in Postcolonial Nigeria. He also completed, revised, and proofread an entry titled "Pentecostal Political Philosophy" for The Oxford Research Encyclopedia of African History and wrote a chapter titled "Proverbs, Postproverbial and the African Mythological Imaginary," in The Context of Radical Proverb-Making in Nigerian Languages, a special issue of Proverbium: Online Supplement 4: 2024, edited by Aderemi Raji-Oyelade.
