Teaching the Holocaust requires historical accuracy, thoughtful pedagogy, and meaningful engagement with primary sources. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum has developed a wide range of educational resources designed to help educators teach this history with depth, context, and sensitivity.

This webinar introduces lesson plans, videos, primary sources, and professional development materials created by the Museum that support Holocaust education across grade levels and subject areas. Participants will explore instructional approaches that encourage students to examine how and why the Holocaust happened, investigate the role of antisemitism, and analyze survivor testimonies, diaries, photographs, artifacts, and archival film. Educators will also learn strategies for adapting instruction for diverse learners and discover professional learning resources that support continued classroom practice.
