“Life isn’t about finding yourself, or finding anything. Life is about creating yourself, and creating things.” –Bob Dylan

Opened in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in May 2022, the Bob Dylan Center inspires and celebrates fearless creativity by exploring the music and artistry of the Nobel Prize-winning singer-songwriter as a catalyst for personal expression and cultural change. The Center is the permanent home of the Bob Dylan Archive, some 100,000 one-of-a-kind objects amassed by Dylan since the mid-1960s, and offers a wide range of exhibitions, in-person and virtual public programs, and educational initiatives for learners of all ages.

In this webinar, Director Steven Jenkins will discuss the origins and ongoing endeavors of the Bob Dylan Center and reflect on the ways in which the careful stewardship of archives can impact artist legacies and promote cultural change.
