Joyful Learning: Supporting All Students in the Inclusive Classroom

Webinar Details

Do surprises help students learn? Can movement inspire creativity? Could exercise be used as a positive behavior support? These questions and others about collaborative learning, inclusive education, and design practices will be addressed in this webinar on creating engaging and active classrooms.

When learning experiences and structures are fairly traditional and didactic, many students—including those with disabilities and other identified needs—struggle to engage and succeed. In this webinar, Dr. Kluth will discuss alternatives to common structures (such as whole-group lessons) and provide a rationale for the use of collaborative and active learning techniques aimed at engaging students and making learning joyful.

Instructor: Paula Kluth, PhD (Owner/Consultant, Inclusion Rules LLC)

Advisor(s): Ashley Adams and Delisa Alejandre, NHC Teacher Advisory Council
