Living the Revolution: America, 1789-1820

Seminar Suggestions

  1. Taking Notes. Use the copy/paste technique of note-taking while reading the texts online (instead of printing out and annotating all the texts).

  2. Preparing for Discussion. Print out the reading guides for your seminar texts (e.g., the reading guide for Expansion, Text 4). These include the discussion questions for the text as well as the framing questions for the topic.

  3. To Bring to the Seminar. Bring the reading guide and your copy/paste notes for each text to the seminar.
