Nancy Bryan Faircloth (1930 - 2010)

The Trustees and staff of the National Humanities Center are deeply saddened by the death of Nancy Bryan Faircloth on January 15. Nancy Faircloth was an early supporter of the Center and served on its Board from 1982 until 1992, when she was elected Trustee Emerita. A figure of grace and good judgment, Mrs. Faircloth provided support and insight to strengthen the Center's education and fellowship programs in the region and across the country.
